This page explains how the Solaris Research website processes personal data. It is intended as a project-specific supplement to ETH Zürich's broader data protection information.

Scope

This website is an informational site for Solaris Research. It does not provide user accounts or open comment areas.

Information you send to us

If you contact us by email or submit an external form linked from this site, we receive the information you choose to provide. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry, review applications or coordinate collaboration requests.

Technical data

When you visit the site, your browser and hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser type and access time in server logs. These logs are used for delivery, security and maintenance of the site.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. The landing page uses browser local storage only to remember whether the site access gate has already been unlocked on your device. If the site is later expanded to use non-essential cookies or analytics tools, this page and a cookie banner should be updated accordingly.

Third-party services

This site links to external services including ETH Zürich pages, Airtable forms and external researcher websites. When you open those services, their own data protection notices apply.
